Baby Naming
A new baby needs to be acknowledged and welcomed into the world and what a lovely way to share this with family and friends. A Naming Ceremony can be conducted by a Civil Celebrant and is a non-religious ceremony.

The structure of naming your baby on the day is yours to choose but I find that if you have a structure of some sort to guide you it helps.
Basic Structure
Gather your family and friends for a great celebration of
your love, hopes and dreams for your future together. Honour your love for each
other in a commitment ceremony which you declare publicly your intentions to
live your lives together as a couple. While this ceremony is not legally
binding, a commitment ceremony celebrates your physical, emotional and
spiritual bond and unites you in a true partnership.
Commitment ceremonies
for same sex couples are a way for a couple to commit to each other without the
wedding. Legally a same sex marriage is not legally binding but a
commitment ceremony is the next best thing. Same sex couples celebrate the
emotional, love, and spiritual joining and all the same things as a legal
marriage except for the legal bits, and it is a public declaration for the love
for each other.
Renewal Of Vows
Reaffirm your commitment to marriage. I find this ceremony great for Wedding Anniversary. Create a new celebration which reflects the journey you have been on and the journey you intent to continue.
The Renewal of Vows is also known as a Re-Affirmation Ceremony. There may be a considerable history to the relationship by the time a renewal of vows is decided upon. There may be even children of the partnership. A Renewal of Vows or Re-Affirmation Ceremony can also include a commemorative certificate. This can be signed by two witnesses at the event. Unlike legal marriage, people of any age even children could be the signatories at this ceremony.
